Validates that stored procedure does not exist in the database. Assert will fail when object is found in the database.

Arguments

  • v_ProcName – stored procedure name. Supports four part object name.Variable Character(255) in Oracle and Netezza, SYSNAME in SQL Server
  • v_UserMessage – message to report when assertion fails, Variable Character(255) in Oracle and Netezza, NVARCHAR(MAX) in SQL Server

SQL Server 

      EXEC DBTD_ASSERT_PROC_NOT_EXISTS ‘sp_Report1’, ‘Cannot find object’;

Oracle 

      DBTD_ASSERT_PROC_NOT_EXISTS (‘sp_ProductList’, ‘Cannot find object’);

Netezza

      CALL DBTD_ASSERT_PROC_NOT_EXISTS (‘sp_GetOrder’, ‘’);
